Anti-Corruption Activities in Modern Society: A Junior Commanders’ School Session at DSUIA

The primary goal of the school is to prepare leaders for the effective functioning of cadet units.

The session focused on the concept and legal status of whistleblowers in national legislation, and their role in democratic society. The DSUIA Anti-Corruption Officer, Ruslan Lupyr, defined the characteristics and concept of a whistleblower, highlighted their legal status, and emphasized the crucial role whistleblowers play in building a democratic society and fostering zero tolerance towards corruption.

Ruslan Lupyr also presented and distributed printed materials for personal use to the junior commanders, including the “Whistleblower’s Guide” from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and manuals on integrity building and corruption exposure in the defense and security sector from the NATO Building Integrity Centre.
