The event was organized by the Department of Criminal Procedure and Strategic Investigations of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Training for the National Police Units at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The co-moderator of the event was Colonel of Police Inna Vlasova, Head of the Investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region. The scientific discussion was attended by over 100 representatives from higher education institutions, practical units, and students.
The central theme of the conference focused on current issues of crime counteraction under martial law, specific aspects of improving national criminal legislation, and criminal procedural and forensic aspects of implementing state policies to counteract crime.
Researchers concentrated on methodological problems in training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies, organizing the identification of victims and witnesses of crimes committed in occupied territories, features of organizing the work of investigators in de-occupied territories, and other procedural and forensic aspects of investigating criminal offenses related to the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
