The two-day open judo tournament held in Kamianske gathered over 180 athletes from 10 regions and the city of Kyiv.
DSUIA’s team was represented by 7 higher education students who competed not only for medals but also for the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine. After intense competition, cadet Yulia Tolmachova (PI-343) secured second place in the up to 78 kg weight category, and cadet Oleksandr Pyzhivskyi (SI-231) achieved third place in the up to 100 kg category.
Just missing out on medals were Oleksandr Yakovlev, a cadet from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Training for National Police Units, and Mariia Yeromina, a student from the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education.
