Vladyslav Moskvych, a student at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), secured third place by defeating an opponent from Latvia.
The European Judo Cup for juniors under 21 was held in Kaunas, Lithuania, with over 250 athletes from 13 countries competing. Representing Ukraine in the 100 kg weight category, Vladyslav Moskvych achieved a bronze medal by executing a powerful ippon throw against Latvian athlete Danils Gromovs.
In April 2024, Vladyslav Moskvych won the Ukrainian Judo Championship, earning the opportunity to qualify for the European Championship, which will take place in Tallinn, Estonia, from September 5-8, 2024.
