Yuriy RYBALKA has completed his training at the Driving School for People with Disabilities at the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) and received his category B driver’s license.
The DSUIA Driving School for People with Disabilities helps individuals become mobile and not constrained by the schedules or routes of city transport. Yuriy RYBALKA is the latest graduate who completed the full course, passed the theoretical and practical driving exams, and received his long-awaited driver’s license.
Yuriy shared that he didn’t previously need driving skills, but as his parents aged, the need for free movement around the city to accompany them became essential. He discovered information about the DSUIA Driving School online, inquired about the steps to enroll, gathered the necessary documents, and within a few days, he was attending the Driving School.
Yuriy expressed satisfaction with both the learning process and the quality of instruction. He chose a car with an automatic transmission, initially training on a dedicated practice field before moving on to city routes.
Based on his own experience, Yuriy advises new students at the Driving School to study diligently and not forget about self-education by exploring additional materials and expert advice. The “Driving School for People with Disabilities” is a project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, implemented as part of the “Without Barriers” initiative by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena ZELENSKA.
The Driving School for People with Disabilities at DSUIA invites applicants for training on vehicles with hand controls (categories B and C1). Registration documents can be submitted online.
