Driver Training for Persons with Disabilities: DSUIA Auto School Students Passed Theoretical Exam

NEWS

The Auto School continues to train students for categories B and C1. Recently, two more students have successfully passed the theoretical exam.

Yevhen and Mykola, both military personnel, decided to adapt to their new lives after sustaining injuries due to Russian aggression. They began by learning to drive vehicles with manual controls to obtain a category B license. Both expressed confidence and calmness before the exam.

Obtaining a driver’s license at the Auto School for Persons with Disabilities at DSUIA is a two-step process. The first step, the theoretical exam, has been successfully completed. Next, the military personnel will undergo training on practice grounds and city routes with qualified instructors from the Auto School for Persons with Disabilities at DSUIA. After completing the required practical hours (7 weeks/40.5 hours), students can take the practical driving test.

The Auto School at DSUIA invites persons with musculoskeletal disorders (both military and civilian) to obtain a driver’s license for categories B and C1 on vehicles with manual controls or to undergo requalification if needed (in case of injury and/or limb loss, diseases).

Registration documents can be submitted online.
