The training sessions were organized by the instructors of the Department of Tactical and Special Training at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) in collaboration with qualified specialists from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Theoretical foundations of mortar fire and types of ammunition were reviewed. Exercises included identifying training targets, calculating distances, and subsequent targeting (using pneumatic simulators for training mortar crews with calibers of 82 mm and 120 mm).
Skills in working with anti-tank missile systems “Fagot” and “Korsar” were also practiced: cadets performed training missile launches in an interactive mode.
Tactical and special training of cadets as future police officers enhances practical skills, familiarizes them with the material parts of various types of weapons, and provides the knowledge necessary in wartime conditions.
