The training was organized by the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).
Over the course of more than a month, over 700 individuals, students from 64 city and regional educational institutions, participated in the “Dzura-Police” direction. The events were conducted with the aim of national-patriotic education of youth.
The training took place at DSUIA locations in three main areas:
Intellectual-Artistic Complex “Cossack Games”
Participants demonstrated their knowledge of the history of Ukraine and Cossacks in the intellectual quiz “Vidun.”
Complex “Cossack Valor”
This included military-applied elements, such as the drill and marching song contest “Vporiad,” during which each team demonstrated their skill in performing drill elements, presenting their name, and team motto. Participants tested their abilities in overcoming the “Obstacle Course,” studied the material parts of automatic weapons, and competed in shooting in an interactive shooting range.
Police-Applied Complex
This was a combination of the police quest “Guardians of Law and Order” and the police basic training course “Use of UAVs.”
During the quest, participants had to solve an improvised “crime” by completing tasks at each location, where they received clues, restored a destroyed photo, used gadgets to scan QR codes, and provided assistance to a simulated victim. In the UAV training course, participants learned about the types, structure, and functions of unmanned aerial vehicles and practiced primary control skills using simulators.
All “Dzura” participants who completed the second stage of the training are preparing for a five-day camp session.
