Topic: “The Trend of Gender Equality in Global and Ukrainian Politics”
Researchers, faculty, and students of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs participated in an online discussion with the Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Olena Kondratiuk.
This lecture is a joint project of the Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Ukreate Hub, patronized by the Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Olena Kondratiuk, and the Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen.
Participants had the opportunity to engage with the Vice Speaker, analyzing the trend towards gender parity in global politics and learning about the primary barriers women face on their path to political leadership. The discussion also covered the progress and challenges in this area, exemplified by the Ukrainian parliament.
