The university has launched a pilot elective course “Use of UAVs in Police Activities”, which includes military veterans, practical employees of the National Police units, and cadets of the DSUIA.
After the completion of the course, the rector of DSUIA, Oleksandr MORGUNOV, met with the course participants. The head of the institution noted that the course is beneficial as it is aimed at practical skills in controlling UAVs and understanding their tasks and capabilities in police activities.
The course includes a theoretical part, work on simulators (flight simulators), and a practical part: at equipped locations and in open areas – a training ground, where it is possible to test different heights and trajectories of UAV movements.
