A meeting with Nadiya Sytnyk, Head of the Educational Security Service Management of the National Police, was held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). This event took place as part of the specialization program for police officers who will serve in educational institutions.

During the meeting, Nadiya Sytnyk presented the Concept of the Educational Security Service to the police officers undergoing specialization and preparing to work in general secondary education institutions. It is planned that by the end of 2024, law enforcement officers will be present in 2,000 schools and lyceums.

Nadiya Sytnyk emphasized that school police officers should become role models for children, including through the creation of the image of a responsible adult.

The officers of the Educational Security Service will have law enforcement, mentoring, and educational functions. Additionally, police officers will acquire mediation skills to prevent conflicts.

The implementation of the Concept of the Educational Security Service will enhance safety in general secondary education institutions, create effective role models, and facilitate the prevention of offenses.
