The events are conducted by qualified specialists from the Department of Special Physical Training at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).
Speed, endurance, agility, and strength were the main focus during the boxing training sessions for military veterans. Before the workout, athletes warmed up using equipment such as kettlebells, barbells, and weight plates of various weights.
After the warm-up, participants practiced basic punches on the punching bag under the guidance of university athletes.
Experts note that sports activities positively impact the psychological and social adaptation of military veterans. Boxing and mixed martial arts training sessions are held weekly at DSUIA and are part of the social-educational project TitansUA.
