NEWS

A formation to commemorate Constitution Day of Ukraine took place on the parade ground of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). The rector, Oleksandr MORHUNOV, participated in the event.

The morning began with the assembly of the personnel, the singing of the National Anthem of Ukraine, and a traditional moment of silence to honor the fallen.

Rector Oleksandr MORHUNOV addressed the cadets, emphasizing that the Constitution, as the primary legal document of the state, lays down the fundamental directions for Ukraine’s development. He stressed that our defenders sacrifice their lives and health in the war to ensure that the norms of the Basic Law are upheld. Therefore, future law enforcement officers must know the Constitution’s content and its main provisions and adhere to its norms to set an example for all citizens of Ukraine.

At the end of the event, the cadets and officers marched in a ceremonial parade.

The Constitution of Ukraine is the Basic Law of Ukraine, adopted on June 28, 1996, at the 5th session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2nd convocation.
