The events were organized by the Department of Education and Science of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

More than seven hundred participants, forming 64 teams, joined the final regional stage in the direction of “Jura-Police Officer.” The event began with a ceremonial formation on the parade ground of DDUVS. The participants were greeted by representatives of regional leadership, the security and defense sector, and higher education institutions.

The rector of DDUVS, Oleksandr MORHUNOV, addressed the participants and wished them strength, enthusiasm, sporting spirit, and victory.

The competitions lasted for four days in three directions. As part of the intellectual-artistic complex “Cossack Fun,” participants demonstrated their knowledge of Ukrainian history and Cossacks in the intellectual quiz “Vidun.” The “Cossack Valor” complex included military-applied elements – the formation and marching song competition “Vporiad,” during which each team demonstrated proficiency in performing drill elements, presented their team name, and slogan. Participants tested their strength in overcoming the “Obstacle Course,” studied the material part of automatic weapons, and competed in shooting.

The highlight of the competitions – the police-applied complex – combined the police quest “Guardians of Law and Order” and the basic police training course “Use of UAVs.”

During the quest, participants had to solve an improvised crime by completing tasks at each location, where they received clues, restored a destroyed photo, used gadgets to read QR codes, provided assistance to a simulated victim, and more.

As part of the UAV usage course, participants learned about the types, structure, and functions of unmanned aerial vehicles and practiced primary piloting skills using simulators.

The finalists of the second stage will represent Dnipropetrovsk region at the national competitions.
