Ihor Klymenko: Decision Made to Open the 5th MIA Lyceum in Kryvyi Rih for 50 Children

Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko announced this in his Telegram channel.

“Dnipro. During a working trip, together with the head of the OVA Serhiy Lysak, we held a meeting with the heads of MIA bodies and units, local authorities, and educators,” the Minister noted.

He listened to reports on the security situation in the region, especially in frontline communities suffering from daily shelling. All services are on-site, close to the people.

Ihor Klymenko emphasized that particular attention was paid to security-oriented and national-patriotic education lyceums of the MIA. He noted that repairs are almost complete at the Dnipro lyceum, and it will be ready to accept 100 students in the new academic year.

“Since the start of the application process, we have received many feedback and suggestions. Considering the most popular request, a decision has been made to open the 5th MIA lyceum in Kryvyi Rih. We aim to enroll the first 50 children, and the academic year will start here on October 15,” the MIA Head wrote.

He thanked the local authorities for their support and understanding of the importance of the MIA initiative.

In Dnipro, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine also commended the rescuers dealing with the aftermath of enemy strikes.

“Thank you for saving and helping. For always being there,” the Minister concluded in his post.
