DSUIA Cadets Visited the K-9 Center of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region

Cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs learned about the specifics of police service with canine units.

During the introductory visit, cadets had the opportunity to talk with the unit’s specialists and learn about the use of service dogs in police work. The officers explained the legal basis for using dogs in their duties, including searching for missing persons, detecting narcotics, weapons, explosives, and apprehending offenders. The cadets witnessed the abilities and skills of the service dogs firsthand and recognized the significant impact these canine colleagues have on the effectiveness of the National Police of Ukraine’s operations.
