The seminar “Elementary Cooperation: Components for KA2 Projects” took place in Izvoare, Romania. The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) was represented by Professor of Ukrainian Studies and Foreign Languages, Iryna Tsaryova.
The event aimed to provide young workers, trainers, and youth leaders with the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices, establish connections, and build professional relationships in the field of youth work. It also aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of EU policies and the Erasmus KA2 program, including brainstorming, planning, and project development aligned with EU youth goals. Additionally, the seminar sought to create support channels and groups for continuous feedback and improvement of youth project applications.
Representatives from DSUIA, Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, and Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs represented Ukraine. Twenty participants from various countries, including Bulgaria, Italy, Moldova, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, and Croatia, took part in the project.
The seminar was opened by the project organizer, Andrea Gabre. On the second day, participants presented their universities, schools, and organizations. The program included many interactive activities, group discussions, brainstorming sessions, and lively debates on various issues. On the third day, Diana Georgina-Joca, president of Asociatia Ingens Risus, spoke about the concept and essence of Erasmus+ projects. Participants learned how to define clear goals, set appropriate tasks, and choose effective tools for intercultural online cooperation.
Participation in the event provided valuable insights into the internationalization of higher education and the methods and forms of work in this direction. Examples of positive experiences deepened the understanding of the process and its importance for the successful functioning and development of DSUIA. The results of the trip will be tested by preparing a report on internationalization for an international or Ukrainian conference and will be presented at a meeting of the DSUIA Council of Young Scientists. All participants received certificates upon completion of the seminar.
