An elective session on “Basic Concepts of Cyber Hygiene and Cybersecurity Threats” was conducted for the primary professional training, specialization, and advanced training division at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The event was led by Andrii HREBENIUK, Head of the Department of Economic and Information Security at DDUVS. Topics included the protection of accounts, mobile devices, and applications (such as “Diia” and banking), safeguarding personal data from leaks, and creating complex passwords using password generators and managers.
The session’s outcome was gaining knowledge and skills to apply a systematic approach to protecting personal data from fraudulent activities and hacking, using two-factor authentication, complex password combinations, and antivirus programs on computers or gadgets.
