Police Lyceums. Ivano-Frankivsk.

MIA Lyceum, NEWS

In the new video project “Security Mentors,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) showcases the Ivano-Frankivsk Security and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum.

Its head is third-rank police general Valeriy Sereda. He has significant experience in law enforcement and teaching. Since 2014, he has been defending Ukraine on the front lines. Throughout the video, the head of the lyceum talks about the arrangement of the territory, classrooms, and the living quarters. The final phase of renovation and finishing work is currently in full swing.

What are the admission requirements for the lyceums, how will the educational process take place, and what profession can be obtained after studying at the lyceum? We explain this in the MIA Podcast.

On the lyceum grounds, there are several buildings: an educational building, which also houses a dining room; a dormitory with comfortable rooms and relaxation areas; a sports hall with equipment; and an assembly hall. All classrooms are equipped with modern technology and equipment, and there is a medical unit and a security post.

Valerii Sereda notes that the lyceums of security orientation and national-patriotic education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine are the first project aimed at comprehensive support for children whose parents were wounded on the front lines, went missing, or died. The lyceums will employ professional teachers and educators who will become not only mentors but also friends to the students. Last week, the Ministry of Internal Affairs highlighted the security-oriented and national-patriotic education lyceum in Dnipro.
