Graduation of the “Educational Safety Service” course took place at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

Seventy-four police officers at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs passed a comprehensive final exam and received certificates of completion.

During the exam, attendees were tested on subjects covered throughout the course, including bullying prevention, police procedures, and relevant legislation.

Afterward, the graduates met with representatives from DSUIA and practical departments involved in their training. The event was attended by the Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA, Police Lieutenant Colonel Anatoliy KOLOTIK; Acting Deputy Chief of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Colonel Yuriy SLUKHAENKO; Head of the Educational Safety Service Department of the Main Department of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Lieutenant Colonel Olena TKACHOVA; Chief of the Patrol Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk Region of the Patrol Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Andriy KALYUZHNY; Head of the Educational Safety Service Organization Sector of the Patrol Police Department in Odesa Region, Police Senior Lieutenant Denys SHULHA; and the Head of the NGO “Dnipro League of Social Workers” at the UNICEF Children’s Fund, Olesya BELKO.

Anatoliy KOLOTIK addressed the attendees, thanking them for their commitment and emphasizing the vital role of officers in educational institutions, especially during wartime.

Practical department representatives then presented the attendees with their specialization certificates. Soon, the officers will begin their duties in educational institutions across Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions.

The “Educational Safety Service” project, initiated by the country’s leadership with the participation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Police, aims to protect children in schools during the full-scale war and create a safe environment post-war.
