The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues training as part of the “Use of UAVs in Police Operations” course. The latest group of attendees confirmed their theoretical and practical skills, and certificates were presented by Vice-Rector Ihor KOVALIOV.
The course included police officers from practical units and a representative from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ihor KOVALIOV emphasized the importance of continuous UAV training at the university, as modern police and military personnel must be adept with advanced technology to fulfill their duties. He highlighted that a broad range of skills and knowledge among Security and Defense Sector personnel is crucial for citizens’ peace of mind.
The course consists of theoretical and practical components. Practical training, including flights, is conducted on simulators and at a field range.
Mastering UAV piloting skills enables effective use of these devices in police functions. The training was conducted using MAVIC 3 drones.
