Instructors from the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) completed a week-long course on operating Class I unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Conducted by the Department of Aviation Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the course covered UAV operation and counter-UAV measures using anti-drone equipment.
Kristina Derevyanko from the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, and Viktor Pletentsev from the Department of Forensic Science and Pre-Medical Training, enhanced their knowledge and acquired new skills in UAV operation for various police activities. The training included theoretical foundations of UAV operation, aerodynamics, and practical flights. Attention was also given to electronic warfare systems and countermeasures against enemy UAVs.
The acquired knowledge will be integrated into the educational process. All participants received certificates upon completion.
