Maria Khlivna, the acting head of the student-cadet council of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, represented the university at the VI Congress of the public union “Ukrainian Student League” in Vinnytsia.
Over 80 representatives of student and cadet self-governance bodies from higher education institutions participated in the Congress. They met with Oleksandr Khymenko, Head of the Secretariat of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, Mykhailo Vynnytskyi, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Andriy Chesnokov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and Kostiantyn Koshelenko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, as well as representatives from Ukrainian businesses.
University delegates discussed and addressed issues related to protecting the rights and interests of higher education students, ensuring the quality of higher education, and the activities and productivity of student self-governance bodies. The event facilitated the exchange of experiences between self-governance bodies to further enhance and cooperate among higher education institutions.
