Cadets from the Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine and the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs have begun defending their practical training results.
The defense starts with verifying the quality of the materials – filling out the diary and appendices, providing a report, and a characterization. The algorithm of actions for police officers arriving at the scene of administrative or criminal offenses and the sequence of responses to citizens’ reports are determined. Actions of law enforcement officers in response to crimes committed by organized criminal groups and organizations involved in smuggling firearms and crimes committed by government officials are also considered.
The defense of the practice is evaluated by the heads of structural subdivisions of the Preventive Activity Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as employees of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at DSUIA.
Practice leaders discussed with the cadets the professional skills acquired during their training. Emphasis was placed on recommendations from future law enforcement officers on improving practical activities.
