A session was held for cadets of the DSUIA Department of Primary Professional Training, Specialization, and Advanced Training to develop additional skills and competencies.
During the visit, the cadets learned about the organization of temporary detention facilities and toured the cells where detainees are held. They discussed with their future colleagues the procedures for applying incentives and penalties to detainees, remanded individuals, and convicted persons.
The cadets were introduced to the «Custody Records» system, which guarantees the basic rights of detainees and prevents unfounded accusations against police officers. This unique record-keeping system documents actions taken regarding detainees in the facility.
The event was organized to enhance the practical component of the educational process and to comprehensively prepare the students for service in law enforcement agencies.
