Psychologists at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs organized a psychological recovery session for cadets from the Faculty of Pre-Trial Investigation, who have been affected by Russian armed aggression.
This session was unique, combining halotherapy (salt cave therapy) with autogenic training based on Joe Dispenza’s methods. Conducted directly in the salt caves, the session aimed to reduce negative emotional states, boost confidence, and foster positive self-regard.
Participants also engaged in the “Safe Place” exercise, designed to create internal psychological support, alleviate stress, and enhance self-regulation skills during prolonged stress exposure.
Serhiy Vyshnevskyi, head of the psychological support department, noted that the ionized micro-particles of salt not only positively influence physiological health but also benefit the nervous system, promoting psychological comfort and reducing the effects of chronic stress and fatigue.
Participants highlighted the high effectiveness of the relaxation exercises. This event is part of broader psychological support efforts for those affected by the war.
