The event was attended by the university’s leadership, cadets, officers of DSUIA, and students from the Dnipro Security-Oriented and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
After performing the National Anthem of Ukraine, the solemn raising of the National Flag over the formation square, and a moment of silence to honor the fallen heroes, the First Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Ihor MAHDALINA, addressed the audience.
Ihor MAHDALINA emphasized that the National Flag of Ukraine has become a symbol of the unity and resilience of our people, with Ukraine’s defenders fighting for independence under the blue and yellow flag every minute. The First Vice-Rector stressed the importance of preserving the memory of the sacrifices made by the people of Ukraine for the right to live on their own land.
During the event, the participants took part in a patriotic flash mob: on both sides of the flag, the cadets unfurled strips of fabric, creating an image of rays symbolizing the dawn and prosperity of Ukraine, as well as faith in our Victory.
