Cadets at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) participated in a two-day basic military training session organized by the Departments of Tactical-Special and Firearm Training at the university’s tactical range.
During the training, cadets practiced small group tactics in open terrain, handling automatic weapons, and engineering preparation, including digging individual trenches and understanding platoon-level defense fortifications. They also worked on defensive tactics, grenade safety, and psychological resilience. Additionally, they learned to manage massive bleeding with tourniquets and explored the basics of UAV control and its tactical use in police work.
The training involved over 100 participants, with further military preparation sessions planned to build on the skills acquired, which will be applied in both their academic studies and future professional duties.
