Latest Interrogation Techniques: Training by DSUIA Experts

NEWS

Professor Viktoriya Rogalska from the Department of Criminal Procedure continues her series of practical training sessions on procedural interviews. These sessions are conducted under a memorandum between DSUIA and the legal organization “JustGroup.”

The “Procedural Interview: Basic” program was recently presented in Kyiv, with over 30 participants from the Prosecutor General’s Office, National Police, Main Investigation Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau. The course covered both national and international procedural interview practices, including application algorithms and conditions.

This training is part of the “Promoting Human Security in Ukraine by Responding to the Multidimensional Crisis Caused by War” project, funded by the Government of Japan and implemented by UNDP Ukraine.

“To date, over 300 law enforcement officers have completed the training and are effectively applying the skills in criminal investigations, including war crimes. The next step is to integrate procedural interviews as a course in higher education institutions,” notes Viktoriya Rogalska.
