The events were organized by the Department of Special Physical Training at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) with the goal of enhancing physical endurance, resilience, and fostering national and military-patriotic education.
After the Ukrainian National Anthem and a minute of silence in honor of fallen heroes, DSUIA Vice-Rector Igor KOVALYOV addressed the cadets. He emphasized that sports help cadets become true law enforcement officers, as the strength and agility of police officers often determine the safety and health of citizens.
The head of the Department of Special Physical Training, Viktor BOGUSLAVSKY, conducted an instruction for the teams.
The event program included several types of sports challenges: sumo wrestling, mini-football, tug-of-war, and a military-sports relay.
Based on the competition results, the team from the Faculty of Pre-trial Investigation Officers Training of the National Police of Ukraine took first place in sumo, mini-football, and tug-of-war.
In the military-sports relay, the team from the Faculty of Criminal Police Officers Training of the National Police of Ukraine won the first place.
