Familiarization with MIA Units Begins for Lyceum Students

MIA Lyceum

Classes for students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine were held at the training ground of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

During the meeting, SES representatives showcased their equipment and its capabilities, including special thermal and chemical protection suits. Students were allowed to try on the protective gear.

Pyrotechnic experts explained the dangers of handling explosive devices and the safety rules for finding such items.

The students were also introduced to the “Firefighter Combat Challenge,” a sports competition for SES specialists, and had the opportunity to try their skills on an obstacle course while wearing equipment.

The Lyceum educates children of military personnel, police officers, civil protection service members, and other security sector employees. Upon graduation, each student can independently choose which higher education institution and specialty to pursue.
