Firearm Training Continues at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs

NEWS, Sport for military veterans

At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, firearm training sessions are ongoing. During the session, military veterans, under the guidance of instructors, reviewed the components of the FORT-12R pistol and practiced accurate shooting at targets.

As part of Exercise No. 11 of the pistol shooting course, participants fired three shots at a stationary target with no time limit.

A mandatory part of the session was instruction on safety measures for handling firearms.

For over six months, the university has been conducting rehabilitation activities for military veterans with musculoskeletal disorders and amputations. DSUIA’s comprehensive approach to training and social adaptation includes activities such as table tennis and martial arts.

The firearm training was conducted as part of the “Friendly Support” project implemented by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. #friendly_support
