A training session for the lyceum students was conducted by Ruslan KUSHNIRENKO, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, and five-time world champion in Thai boxing Muay Thai.
The training was also attended by the Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Honored Coach of Ukraine, Oleksandr MORGUNOV.
The lyceum students were shown striking techniques and defensive actions used in Muay Thai. The emphasis was placed on the safety component during sports activities and on practicing basic boxing exercises and techniques.
Among the tasks of the new MIA Lyceums is to allow the children of Defenders to not only receive quality education, psychological, and emotional support, but also to unlock the potential of each lyceum student.
The lyceum also offers sections in Sambo, Judo, and team sports.
