The cadets paid tribute to the Ukrainian soldiers who died in the battles near Ilovaisk, Donetsk region.
The event took place at the Dnipro House of Arts. Among the invited guests was the film’s director, Kateryna Strelchenko. The film “Ilovaisk. Knights of the Sky” is a requiem dedicated to 15 fighters from the “Dnipro-1” battalion who perished in Ilovaisk in August 2014. At the screening, the cadets learned about these warriors, their dreams, and why they went to war, and had the opportunity to speak with the director and get detailed answers.
After the event, DSUIA cadets shared their impressions, affirming that true patriotism is based on understanding the historical and cultural traditions of the nation and the heroism of its defenders.
