A ceremonial closing of the training camp took place at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
On the parade ground, first-year cadets of DSUIA received their cadet epaulettes. After the performance of the State Anthem of Ukraine and a minute of silence to honor all the fallen, the rector of the higher education institution, Oleksandr Morgunov, addressed those present.
Oleksandr Morgunov congratulated the cadets on successfully completing the training camp and the upcoming Knowledge Day. The head of the educational institution noted that the main task of the youth is to study diligently and wished the cadets to do everything in their power to soon honorably represent the units of the law enforcement agencies. Responsible officers, together with representatives of the rectorate, presented the first epaulettes to the cadets.
Among the first-year students, Maksym Khakhaliev was distinguished; he received the highest score in the entrance examinations – 185 points. The rector presented him with a diploma as the best entrant of DSUIA in 2024.
Participants of the eSTeD creative movement studio welcomed the DSUIA team with a song. At the end of the event, the cadets of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs marched in a ceremonial parade.
