Firearm Training: A Session for Military Veterans at DDUIA

NEWS, Sport for military veterans

A session was conducted by the firearms training department of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA) for military veterans.

For over six months, DSUIA has been organizing sports rehabilitation events for veterans, including training in table tennis, martial arts, and firearm handling. During the latest session at the university’s shooting range, participants studied the components of the FORT-12R, practiced grips, stances, and shooting techniques. A safety briefing was a mandatory part of the training.

As part of Exercise No. 11 of the pistol shooting course, participants fired three shots at a stationary target without time constraints.

The firearm training was held as part of the “Friendly Support” project by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Department of Education, Science, and Sports and in honor of International Charity Day. #friendly_support
