A lecture titled “Activities of Child Services and Their Interaction with Police Bodies” was delivered to students of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists in Preventive Activities.

The speaker, Anna Tkachenko, who served as the head of the Child Services Department of the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration of Dnipro City Council (2006-2024) and a project coordinator for the charity organization “Hope and Homes for Children,” discussed issues related to identifying abandoned, homeless, and parentless children. The lecture covered the roles of entities working with children in difficult life situations and outlined the cooperation between child services and other institutions, particularly the police, to ensure children’s rights.

According to the organizers, the event not only provided cadets with theoretical knowledge but also developed practical skills essential for preventive activities, including promoting and strengthening social justice.
