Representatives of the DSUIA Student-Cadet Council Participate in International Charity Day

NEWS

Cadets organized a clean-up event at the monument of Dmitry YAVORNITSKY, an academic, prominent Ukrainian historian, archaeologist, ethnographer, folklorist, and one of the founders of the Dnipropetrovsk Historical Museum.

The cadets cleaned up excess leaves, litter, and dust, and tidied up the flowerbeds nearby.

Maria KHLIVNA, head of the department for organizing educational work and ensuring the quality of educational activities of the student-cadet council and a second-year cadet at DSUIA, emphasized that volunteerism and charity are more relevant now than ever and should start with each individual. Participation in such events fosters historical memory and the importance of knowledge about the past.

The event was conducted as part of the «Friendly Support» project by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in recognition of International Charity Day. #friendly_support.
