The training aims to support veterans in their rehabilitation process, assist with social adaptation, and help them feel confident and accomplished.
During the session, the material parts of the weapons FORT 20, FORT 17, FORT 17R, GLOCK 17, and the FORT 600 hand grenade launcher were studied. Participants learned stances, grips, shooting positions, weapon readiness, and simulated shooting.
Practical shooting exercise No. 11 of the shooting course was performed, during which the participants fired three shots at a stationary target without time limits.
A large number of veterans are participating in the training and have already noted the importance of such events. According to their feedback, refreshing skills in a safe environment under the guidance of qualified DSUIA instructors allows them to feel prepared for any challenges.
The event was organized by the Firearms Training Department of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
