Senior inspectors from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of the National Police of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Stanislav Kramarenko and Vyacheslav Herasymchuk, were invited to the sessions.
With the cadets of the fourth graduating year (groups DR-141, DR-142, DR-143, DR-144) from the Faculty of Pretrial Investigation of the National Police of Ukraine, the procedural foundations and organization of forensic examinations were reviewed. Special attention was given to the appointment of forensic ballistic and explosive examinations. The lessons covered the classification of ammunition using real-life objects, including industrial and homemade hand grenades (F-1, RG-42, RG-4, GHO, M-67, RGD-5), Matador RPGs, RPG-22, RPG-30, AT-4, as well as 30mm, 14.5mm, and 12.7mm ammunition, anti-personnel mines (PMN, TM-62), cluster munitions, and more.
Acting head of the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Training, Hanna Bidnyak, emphasized that these binary lessons aim to create a holistic perception of the material by engaging multiple specialists in one session.
