The II Scientific-Educational Forum “The Border of Courage and Heroism” was held at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA). The event was organized by the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in honor of Defenders’ Day.
The forum began with the National Anthem of Ukraine and a moment of silence for the fallen.
Rector of DSUIA Oleksandr Morgunov addressed the audience, emphasizing that border guard units were the first to face the enemy and therefore understand the significance of state borders and the value of the homeland better than anyone. He urged the cadets and students of the Dnipro Security and National-Patriotic Education Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to follow the example of the border guards and uphold their traditions.
During the event, representatives of the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky presented the book series “Path to Victory” for the years 2022 and 2023, as well as the journal “Science During War.” Copies of the book series were handed over to the university and the Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Additionally, the border guard representatives prepared creative performances for the cadets and lyceum students.
