The four-day competition among adults, juniors, and youths took place in Brovary and brought together over 400 athletes from all over Ukraine.
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented by adjuncts Tetyana Badalova and Yuliia Tkach, who competed in three categories. Despite intense pressure and a high level of competition, both athletes became prize winners in each category.
Tetyana Badalova competed in the 92 kg weight category. She secured 1st place in semi-contact and synchronized group kata, and 3rd place in hard style with weapons. Yuliia Tkach, competing in the 50 kg weight category, earned 3rd place in semi-contact, 1st place in synchronized group kata, and 2nd place in hard style with weapons.
