The event was conducted by the experts from the Department of Firearms Training at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
During the session, together with the instructors from the Tactical and Special Training Department (TST), participants reviewed the technical specifications of weapons including the FORT-20, FORT-17, FORT-17R, and GLOCK-17. A mandatory part of the training involved a safety briefing on handling firearms.
Participants practiced stances, grips, shooting positions, preparing the weapon for use, simulating shots, and developing skills for clearing malfunctions during shooting. Additionally, they completed practical shooting exercise No. 11 from the pistol shooting course with the FORT-17R pistol, where participants were required to fire three shots at a stationary target without time restrictions.
The firearms training was conducted as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ “Friendly Support” project, organized by the Department of Education, Science, and Sports. #friendly_support
