The event was organized on the initiative of the donor company Biopharma Plasma.

The event, held at the Shevchenko Park of Culture and Recreation, was attended by the First Vice-Rector of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Ihor MAGDALINA, the Rector’s Assistant Volodymyr KOVBASA, the officer corps, and cadets. In total, over 150 Dnipro residents participated, planting 30 sakura trees.

The goal of the event was to green the park and improve the area of this popular recreational spot for both locals and guests of the city.

First Vice-Rector Ihor MAGDALINA emphasized that blood donation is an expression of sincere care for military personnel undergoing rehabilitation who need blood transfusions or medications derived from its components. He also pointed out that tree planting is a way to improve the city we live in, take care of its environmental condition, and leave a lasting legacy in the form of trees for future generations.

The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs is a regular participant in volunteer and charitable initiatives, with cadets frequently donating blood and plasma to support Ukraine’s defenders.
