The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs continues its training within the course “Use of UAVs in Police Activities.”
Certificates of course completion were awarded to the latest group of trainees – police officers from practical units – by Vice-Rector Ihor KOVALIOV. During his meeting with the trainees, Ihor KOVALIOV emphasized that understanding the basics of working with advanced technology and mastering the control of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is a priority for modern police officers. He highlighted that the broad knowledge and skills of representatives from Ukraine’s Security and Defense Sector are key to ensuring the safety and peace of citizens.
The course includes two modules: theoretical training and practical sessions, which involve flight simulations and real UAV flights conducted on a training range. Mastering UAV control skills allows for the effective use of these devices in police operations. The training was conducted using MAVIC 3 drones.
