The class was conducted by Professor Viktoriia ROGALSKA, from the Department of Criminal Procedure and Strategic Investigations.

The elective course on the topic “Interrogation in the Form of Procedural Interview” aimed to familiarize cadets with the key principles and techniques of conducting effective interrogations. This process requires not only professional knowledge but also the skills to engage in dialogue.

The cadets learned to develop skills in analyzing information, asking questions, and creating an atmosphere of trust.

During the theoretical part of the class, the concept of procedural interviewing was discussed, along with the main stages of interrogation, which include preparation, execution, analysis of obtained data, as well as the legal aspects of interrogation.

In the practical part, participants examined real-life cases and scenarios and conducted role-playing exercises where cadets took on the roles of the interrogated individual and the investigator.
