New students continue to join the DSUIA Driving School for People with Disabilities. Oksana, a student from Pavlohrad, has begun her practical lessons.
Becoming more mobile and managing her time efficiently is one of Oksana’s goals, which is why she decided to learn how to drive. She completed her theoretical training in Pavlohrad, while the practical driving component is being mastered at the Driving School for People with Disabilities, which operates on the basis of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).
Oksana shared that she chose the DSUIA Driving School for People with Disabilities because she had heard about the high qualifications of the instructors, the quality vehicles, and the convenient learning conditions.
She has already completed her first practical lessons, mastering exercises on how to start the vehicle and drive in the controlled environment of the training grounds.
This unique project by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is implemented within the framework of the National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Environment and initiated by the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, under the “No Barriers” initiative.
