The training was conducted by the Department of Professional Development and Specialization at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA).
For the video conference training sessions with police officers from the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, DSUIA involved its academic staff: Senior Lecturer of the Department of Theory of State and Law, Maryna VOITSIUK, and Associate Professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure, Karina PISOTSKA.
During the training, current issues of management in police agencies, prospects, and solutions were discussed. The topic of developing gender competence in line with UN and NATO standards was also raised.
The training was part of the collaboration with practical units of the National Police of Ukraine, aimed at effectively organizing short-term professional development for police officers at their duty stations.
These sessions are held regularly and are important for improving the professional activities of police personnel.
