In the final, the football team of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs outplayed the teams of the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, securing second place in the tournament. The athletes were congratulated by the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration – Head of the Regional Military Administration, Serhiy LYSAK.
A football tournament took place in Dnipro among the national teams of military personnel, law enforcement officers, cadets, rescuers, and employees of other special services, with the participation of combatants and veterans.
The event was organized by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration to promote and honor the contributions of law enforcement officers, military personnel, rescuers, and others involved in resisting and repelling armed aggression against Ukraine.
The head of the region, Serhiy LYSAK, congratulated the participants and urged them to remember both the fallen and the living defenders, thanks to whom we can live, work, and study in relatively peaceful conditions.
The DSUIA team in Group “С” played against two military teams and the Dnipropetrovsk Customs Service of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, advancing to the final. The DSUIA footballers secured first place in the group, while the customs team took second place, and the military teams placed third and fourth.
In the final, the teams from the Main Department of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, the Security Service of Ukraine, DSUIA, the National Guard, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine competed. The tournament results were as follows:
First place went to the National Guard of Ukraine team;
Second place was claimed by the DSUIA team;
Third place was taken by the Security Service of Ukraine team.
The top three winning teams were awarded cups and medals.
