Cadets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs Took the Oath of Police Employees

At DSUIA, events were held to mark the first-year students’ taking of the Oath of Employees of the National Police of Ukraine. The students were welcomed by the university rector and invited guests – representatives of the National Police of Ukraine.

After performing the State Anthem of Ukraine and honoring the memory of the fallen with a moment of silence, a group of cadets laid flowers at the monument to the defenders of Ukraine.

The cadets were congratulated by the Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine – Chief of the Personnel Department, Police General of the Third Rank Serhiy KOBETS. He emphasized that the path chosen by the students encourages them to always remain faithful to the Ukrainian people and to carry out their official duties with a high level of responsibility.

The Deputy Head of the Main Department – Head of the Investigation Department of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, Police Colonel Inna VLASOVA congratulated the cadets on taking the oath and expressed hope that after graduation, they would always serve and protect the citizens of Ukraine. Inna VLASOVA emphasized that the future of the state depends on the current cadets.

The Rector of DSUIA, Colonel of Police Oleksandr MORHUNOV congratulated the students and stressed that the oath is taken once and lasts a lifetime. The head of DSUIA emphasized that the cadets have officially joined the law enforcement family and must honorably fulfill their path of service to the Ukrainian people.

The cadets solemnly recited the words of the oath, while university representatives and guests attached police badges to the uniforms of the cadets.

For the first-year students, the cadets and students of DSUIA, together with the creative movement studio “eSTeD,” prepared a creative performance – a patriotic song.
